About Us & History
We make Christ known through local churches, biblical education and practical care for people across generations.
Our Pentecostal faith brings the teaching of Scripture together with prayer, dependence on the Holy Spirit and love for our neighbors. These convictions connect the different parts of our work in India.

Roots and turning points.
- Early years
Faith and education in India
Samuel was raised in India as the son of an Assemblies of God minister. Life in different parsonages introduced him to faith and service. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, a Master’s degree in English Literature and a degree in Theology.
- 1979
A new chapter in the United States
Samuel immigrated to the United States to continue his education. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma, then served as a Registered Nurse at St. Anthony Hospital.
- 1991
Returning to gospel ministry
Samuel and his family returned to India to devote themselves fully to gospel work. He pioneered churches across southern India, bringing church planting together with the training of leaders and service to surrounding communities.

The beginning of our child care ministry
Our child care work began with a commitment to providing children with shelter, support and compassionate attention. Today, that work continues through three homes caring for 75 children.

Preparing people to serve.
Rev. Samuel K. Thomas established the PCG Bible College in Punalur, Kerala. Our two Bible colleges now serve across two states, with approximately 35 young leaders graduating each year. Their preparation supports church planting and service to communities.
We connect careful study of Scripture with prayer, Christian character and the practical responsibilities of ministry. Learning has a purpose in the lives of the people a leader will serve.
Care in everyday life.
Our children’s homes provide holistic care, shelter and support. Every child deserves attention that respects their dignity, encourages their interests and makes room for growth.
We also provide daily support for 14 senior citizens, including food, clothing and compassionate care. Alongside our churches and colleges, these ministries express our commitment to serving the whole person.
Faith expressed through love.
First John connects Christian love with action and truth. That teaching gives direction to our work: sharing the gospel, preparing others to teach and responding to the needs of our neighbors with practical care.
“My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.”
1 John 3:18 King James Version
