Our child care ministry began in 2000. Today, three homes provide care, shelter and practical support for 75 children, with attention to each child’s dignity and wellbeing.

Care that sees
the whole child.
Every child needs to feel safe, cared for, and valued. A place to call home, patient attention, and practical support help make room for childhood and the possibilities ahead.
Our child care work began in 2000. Across three homes, we care for 75 children. Many have experienced abuse, neglect, or abandonment. We welcome them with compassion, provide shelter and support, and honor the person each child is becoming.
Room to grow. Reasons to hope.
Every child brings interests, questions, friendships, and gifts still unfolding. Christian compassion pays attention to those possibilities. It makes space to listen, to encourage, and to walk alongside a child as they grow.
At Tommy’s Orphanage, we share Christmas gifts, clothing, and school supplies as part of our ongoing care for the children. A school bag can help a child carry what they need. A Christmas gathering can make room for shared joy. Such moments belong within the continuing work of care.
Love expressed through care.
James connects faith with practical concern for people in affliction. Caring for children is one way we answer that call. We hold them and their caregivers in prayer, cherishing each child’s dignity and the daily acts of love that help them grow.
